Mark’s story is that of Christ and music. He has been in ministry for over 13 years and started out working in youth ministry. He now serves as the director of college and young adult ministries at First United Methodist Church in Shreveport, LA, as well as leading the worship in FAITHLink. Mark will be appointed as a licensed local pastor to FUMC in June of 2010 and will continue as a teaching pastor at FAITHLink still being involved in the worship planning.

Mark is the co author of When Will Jesus Be Enough? Reclaiming the Power of Worship published through Abingdon Press. Mark also has two albums of worship music he has written. Mark's first album, "Are We There Yet? The Worship Journey" was released through Echo Dei records. His latest release, "Hallelujah Anyway" was released last year. Both albums are available throught I-Tunes and available at Lifeway Chirstian Book Stores. 

Mark and his wife, Nycki, have two kids, Nicholas and Gabbrielle, three cats, two mice and one dog (not necessarily in that order).
